YOUCABULARY

Sources & licences

Youcabulary brings together language reference material and study tools. This page summarises documented dictionary sources; the app’s own attribution notices remain the detailed reference.

Japanese dictionary

JMdict/EDICT dictionary data is provided by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG) and used under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0. Youcabulary transforms the data for its bundled offline dictionary. See EDRDG’s licence statement.

Mandarin Chinese dictionary

The offline Chinese dictionary derives from CC-CEDICT, distributed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0.

Other language resources

The app also uses example-sentence, level-reference and other datasets. A complete release-specific inventory must be carried forward from the app’s attribution file before publication. This website does not distribute those datasets.

Independent products

Anki and any third-party services mentioned are separate products. References describe compatibility or integrations and do not imply endorsement.
